Learn about Marine Mammals of Maine, Oct 1
Do you know what to do if you find an animal stranded on the beach? Marine Mammals of Maine rescues 300 marine animals every year, and works hard to nurse these animals back to health.

Learn more about Marine Mammals of Maine, the current status of seals in Maine, and how to tell if a stranded animal really needs help and what you should do at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Kennebunk Free Library. Representatives from Marine Mammals of Maine will talk about some of the common local marine animals you may see off the coast or on the beach. Attendees will even get to participate in a mock seal and dolphin rescue and health exam.

This program is free and wheelchair accessible. The Kennebunk Free Library is located at 112 Main St. in Kennebunk. For more information please call 207-985-2173 or email kfl@kennebunk.lib.me.us.
