Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument meetings
At upcoming meetings in Presque Isle, Bangor, and Portland, you can help shape the future of Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.

The National Park Service invites members of the public to participate in its management planning process.

You can share your ideas on ways to protect the Monument’s natural resources and support recreational opportunities like hiking, biking, and canoeing. You’ll also hear from Park Service staff about the progress of the management planning process so far.

This is a great opportunity to show your support for making the protection of wildlife habitat and other natural resources a priority and to offer suggestions about how recreational uses should be managed.
