Teen and Teacher Hog Island Scholarships
Merrymeeting Audubon is once again offering summer scholarships for two programs at National Audubon’s Hog Island Camp, located in Bremen, ME. One full scholarship is available for a high school student to attend “Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens,” a week-long program that begins June 18. Applicants must attend a high school within the Chapter’s catchment area, be in grade 9-12 in the spring of 2017, and be recommended by a science teacher.

In addition, a half scholarship is available for an area elementary or middle school teacher to attend “Sharing Nature: An Educator’s Week,” a week-long program which begins July 16. Please see the applications for all the information needed to apply.

Questions may be directed to Steve Spear at 353-8863, or sspear32@gmail.com
