Congress votes to save LWCF
This week, AMC is thrilled to celebrate the permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) as part of the landmark Natural Resources Management Act. Passed with overwhelming bipartisan support in both the Senate and the House, the bill will now head to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law.

As a leader of the LWCF Coalition, AMC worked with more than 1,000 conservation and recreation organizations from across the country to fight for LWCF. We thank all of you who wrote letters, made calls, donated to the cause, and helped spread the word.

While this victory is worth celebrating, there is still work to be done. This bill would permanently reauthorize LWCF, but it does not ensure full and permanent funding. With your support, AMC will continue to stand on the front lines of the fight to fully fund LWCF.

Thank you for being a part of the team fighting to save America's most important conservation program.
